Showing off my rsync-to-USB script
Thank you all for helping me figure out how to manage spaces in paths. The following script is the result. The script uses rsync to backup files to a USB device. Special thanks to Scrutinizer

Hi, I'm trying to mount a usb drive but the path /dev/sda1 does not show up under /dev when I plug in the usb device.
In fact I see no differences under /dev before and after I plugin my usb drive.

We have got a USB HDD with important data in it. The data has been copied to the disk(formatted ext3) via a LINUX system.
The data was supposed to be copied to a second LINUX machine. Surprisingly, it doesn't show up any valid partitions in the new box.

rsyncd [start | stop | monitor | meta-data | validate-all] DESCRIPTION
This script manages rsync daemon SUPPORTED PARAMETERS
binpath The rsync binary path. For example, "/usr/bin/rsync" (optional, string, default rsync) conffile The rsync daemon configuration file name with full path. For example, "/etc/rsyncd.conf" (optional, string, default /etc/rsyncd.conf) bwlimit This option allows you to specify a maximum transfer rate in kilobytes per second. This option is most effective when using rsync with large files (several megabytes and up). Due to the nature of rsync transfers, blocks of data are sent, then if rsync determines the transfer was too fast, it will wait before sending the next data block.
