though i could find the status of the port whether it is listening or not for particular service, i wonder if there is any direct command that could clear the port.

I am having trouble clearing the serial port buffer using the iclear and iflush commands. The code runs without errors being returned, but when I check the buffer again there is still data.

with netstat -an i got the tcp ip connection on port 5914
but when i type ps -a or ps-e there is not such process running on port 5914

ptfig Pointer to a lofig_list
DESCRIPTION
The restoredirvbe function read the PORT section of the vhdl behavuoiral view of the figure, restores the externals connectors directions
and order them as indicated in the vbe.
RETURN VALUE
restoredirvbe returns 1 on success, 0 if there is an error while reading the vbe file, -1 if their is no vbe.
ERROR

The ptfig parameter is NULL.

Number of connetors in vbe and in figure must be identical. If the vbe have more connectors, the getlocon function give an error on
the unknown connector.

To restore the connectors directions, the vbe description must have a port well.

In a port section of a vbe, the bit vector must have indication of the sens of incrementation.
