I am new to Solaris. However, I was able to configure the Syslog server on Solaris. I am using a windows client to send logs to my Solaris syslog server. this is working fine. however, I have 23 servers which are sending their logs to the syslog server and it is very difficult to read all... On hostA, in /etc/syslog.conf file,I am adding below line*.err;kern.debug;daemon.notice;mail.crit @hostB
then I am restarting syslog servicesvcadm restart /system/system-log

I have very limited knowledge on LDAP configuration and have been trying fix one issue, but unsuccessful.
The server, I am working on, is Solaris-10 zone. sudoers is configured on LDAP (its not on local server). I have access to login directly on server with root, but somehow sudo is not working... (9 Replies)
