Unfortunately this doesn't appear to work for me. It looks as though $Myfile is actually set to 'ls Myfile*' instead of the ls command being executed and $Myfile being set to the returned file name. Error given is..

Just started UNIX today! In our school we use solaris. I just want to know how do I setup Solaris 10 not the GUI one, the one where you have to type the commands like ECHO, ls, pwd, etc... I have windows xp and I also have vmware.

I am having to do a lot of perl scripting these days and I am learning a lot.

I want to move files from a folder and all its sub folders to one parent folder, they are all .gz files..
there is folder1\folder2\*.gz

In case you did not notice, our server was not available for about 10 hours this weekend. Our service provider (Servercraft) moved their entire data center from Houston to Dallas, TX.

Apache::Session::Oracle - An implementation of Apache::Session

DESCRIPTION
This module is an implementation of Apache::Session. It uses the Oracle backing store and no locking. See the example, and the
documentation for Apache::Session::Store::Oracle for more details.
USAGE
The special Apache::Session argument for this module is Commit. You MUST provide the Commit argument, which instructs this module to
either commit the transaction when it is finished, or to simply do nothing. This feature is provided so that this module will not have
adverse interactions with your local transaction policy, nor your local database handle caching policy. The argument is mandatory in order
to make you think about this problem.
This module also respects the LongReadLen argument, which specifies the maximum size of the session object. If not specified, the default
maximum is 8 KB.
