I tried that. I did the following:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/sfw/lib since libwrap is located there. But now "make install" fails:

"tac_plus.c", line 32: cannot find include file: <tcpd.h>

Please let me know what I might be missing.

Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation, install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.
