Ok I a n00b, not gunna hide it so here goes -
Sun Solaris, V.10 i386 - during the setup, I can choose a screen resolution that looks great with 65k colors and all. However, when all is said and done 4 disks and a reboot later, I get hanious 640x480 @ 256 only.

Hello,
I'm trying to find out which font xterm uses by default in CDE. I like it, it's nice and clean. My problem is that Java based applications like jEdit cannot find it.
Could anybody tell me what is the name of the font?
Example is attached.

I configured CDE on AIX server and lauched CDE from desktop using reflection 14.1.
I can lauch xclock with my own id
but when i Su to any other id and try xclock it is giving the follwoing error
X connection to localhost:10.0 broken ( explicit kill or server shutdown).

ARGUMENTS
Specifies a pointer to a simple lock structure. You can declare this simple lock structure by using the decl_simple_lock_data routine.
DESCRIPTION
The simple_lock routine asserts a lock with exclusive access for the resource associated with the specified slock structure pointer. This
means that no other kernel thread can gain access to the locked resource until you call simple_unlock to release it. Because simple locks
are spin locks, simple_lock does not return until the lock has been obtained.
NOTES
You must call simple_lock_init (once only) prior to calling simple_lock to initialize the simple lock structure for the resource. A
resource, from the kernel module's standpoint, is data that more than one kernel thread can manipulate. You can store the resource in
global variables and in data structure members.
