I haven't messages on console like show in "NVRAM Battery Fix FAQ", but I'd like to do something with battery.
How about the other faulty?
I suppose I should take a ok> prompt with faulty nvram like show above

ALOM wont work when KVM connected to Sun Fire V440 server

Hi, I was asked to connect a KVM screen to a Sun Fire V440 last night so I connected it up but no joy and nothing on the KVM screen.        cat_nvram - Dumps  the  contents  of  nvram  to	STDOUT.

SYNOPSIS

       cat_nvram upper_method

DESCRIPTION

       cat_nvram is a helper program from the package nvram-wakeup.  It dumps the contents of nvram to stdout using direct I/O functions.

OPTIONS

       upper_method
	      specifies the method which should be used to access the upper part of NVRAM.

	      See nvram-wakeup.conf(5) for a list of possible values.
