hi all,
i would like to know if there are any tools in unix (sun solaris 8) to convert PDF files to PCL format (i.e, .prn files)
i want to convert around 3000 files (in a batch) to PCL format files. can anyone help me out with this.

We're looking for a program that can convert Text and PCL formats into a PDF. We're not looking to spend a fortune so my search so far has come up empty handed as everyone wants an arm and a leg. I found txt2pdf, but that doesn't support PCL formats. Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to convert html to pdf using perl module PDF::FromHTML, am getting the error as given below.

I have compiled GhostPDL that provides a shell script pcl2pdf that calls the executable pcl6.
pcl6 compiled with no errors using gmake and gcc. Running pcl2pdf generates a core dump when trying to convert a pcl file to pdf.
I have installed the Ghost fonts. Does anyone have GhostPDL compiled... (1 Reply)
