I have 15 files in a directory with the same name as discribd below.
I have a script which automatically pics the file name and ftp to other server.
due to similar name im confused which file does it pic I want to pic up the latest file from my directory and ftp say "refresh_20090407083707.dat
" here 2009040708370 indicates timestamp
so please suggest me to ftp the latest file!!!

I am new to unix and I want to ftp files from unix to windows nt machine.

We are facing a weird problem in our project. we need to send some xml & audio files to a remote FTP server from a Linux box, we are doing this in Perl script using Net::FTP->. iam using mget *.* too get all files in FTP
iam checking the FTP Server every day for the new files(there are 100s every day) and iam doing *.*
by doing so iam getting the old files also(it overwriting the old files) ......

unknown - identify possible genotypes for unknowns
SYNOPSIS
A program to rapidly identify which genotypes are possible for individuals typed as unknowns in the input pedigree.
unknown [ -cl ]
DESCRIPTION
unknown infers possible genotypes and mating combinations for parents with unknown genotypes for ilink(1), mlink(1) and linkmap(1).
OPTIONS -c Use conditional allele frequencies.
-l Choose a good set of loop breakers automatically.
RETURN VALUE
0 Successful completion
ERRORS
10 File not found
255 Failure
EXAMPLES
Normally, unknown(1) is run immediately prior to its sister programs, ilink(1), mlink(1) and linkmap(1), like this:

FILES unknown(1) reads the two files pedfile.dat and datafile.dat as its own input and produces various temporary files that are used as input to
the next program. These temporary files are ipedfile.dat, upedfile.dat, speedfile.dat and newspeedfile.dat.
