Like zxmaus, we had this issue too. Cat your /etc/niminfo file and look at the last line that starts with "export ROUTES=". It probably looks something like this:
[CODE]export ROUTES=" default:0:192.168.1.1 ..."[CODE]
Rename the /etc/niminfo file to /etc/niminfo.old and run "smitty nim" on your client machines and go through the setup steps again. Then look at the /etc/niminfo file and see if it looks correct after that.

I have 2 netwotks ( 10.0.0.0 and 10.0.11.0 ) on 2 different areas
I need both networks to telnet the corresponding ethernet card.
This is a prblem because AIX is configured with a default gateway.

I'm trying to configure my Solaris servers with only one NIC card to have 2 IP addresses as well as 2 different default gateways.
( NOT to be confused with multi-pathing - with 2 physical IPs & 1 virtual ip)

fxp0: 200.14.xxx.254
sk0: 200.12.xxx.4
gateway: 200.14.xxx.1
both ip addresses are public but only those requests to fxp0 are successful.

routes - Shorewall file
SYNOPSIS
/etc/shorewall/routes
DESCRIPTION
This file was added in Shorewall 4.4.15 and is used to define routes to be added to provider routing tables.
The columns in the file are as follows.
PROVIDER
The name or number of a provider defined in shorewall-providers[1] (5).
DEST
Destination host address or network address.
GATEWAY (Optional)
If specified, gives the IP address of the gateway to the DEST.
DEVICE (Optional)
Specifies the device route. If neither DEVICE nor GATEWAY is given, then the INTERFACE specified for the PROVIDER in
