Some of the commands:
dscl . -list /Users
dscl . -read /Groups/admin
dscacheutil -flushcache

According to multiple sources you should not change the default shell to bash for the root user because it will make the system unbootable.
Is there a safe way to launch bash for root when logging in? Perhaps I can edit /etc/profile or add it to a startup script somewhere? (2 Replies)

DESCRIPTION
This is a "CPANPLUS::Shell::Default" plugin that can add custom sources to your CPANPLUS installation. This is a wrapper around the "custom
module sources" code as outlined in "CUSTOM MODULE SOURCES" in CPANPLUS::Backend.
This allows you to extend your index of available modules beyond what's available on "CPAN" with your own local distributions, or ones
offered by third parties.
