Reading and printing one by one contents of a file
I have a file which has following contents:
localhost_IP_SIP_1233026552455.xml
localhost_IP_SIP_1233026552460.xml
localhost_IP_SIP_1233026552467.xml
localhost_IP_SIP_1233026552759.xml
localhost_IP_SIP_1233026552969.xml
localhost_IP_SIP_1233026552975.xml
localhost_IP_SIP_1233026552981.xml
I want to print the content one by one......
Can any one please help me ?

I want to print the contents of a file from 2nd line to last but one line using the AWK command.
I tried using the Shell Script,MyScript as fallows:
MyScript:
{
if(NR>1)
{
if(NR<9)
{
print $0
}
}
}
and used the commnd :
awk -f MyScript Filename

I am doing something basic, but I am missing something. Im trying to read the contents of a file and taking those values and connecting to a database. However, it only connect to one (or reads in) value and then exists.

NAME
CGI::XML - Perl extension for converting CGI.pm variables to/from XML
SYNOPSIS
use CGI::XML;
$q = new CGI::XML;
# convert CGI.pm variables to XML
$xml = $q->toXML;
$xml = $q->toXML($root);
# convert XML to CGI.pm variables
$q->toCGI($xml);
DESCRIPTION
The CGI::XML module converts CGI.pm variables to XML and vice versa.
CGI::XML is a subclass of CGI.pm, so it reads the CGI variables just as CGI.pm would.
METHODS
$q = new CGI::XML
creates a new instance of CGI::XML. You also have access to all of the methods in CGI.pm.
$q->toXML([$root])
where $root is an optional parameter that specifies the root element. By default, toXML will not return a root element.
$q->toCGI($xml)
where $xml is the XML you would like to convert to CGI.pm parameters. Values in the XML will overwrite any existing values if they
exist.
NOTE
CGI::XML does not currently handle multiple selections passed from HTML forms. This will be added in a future release.
