I have a requirement whereby I have to sort a flat file based on Multiple Columns (similar to ORDER BY Clause of Oracle). I am getting 10 columns in the flat file and I want the file to be sorted on 1st, 3rd, 4th, 7th and 9th columns in ascending order. The flat file is pipe seperated.

Hi, I'm trying to use awk arrays to compare values across two files based on multiple columns. I've attempted to load file 2 into an array and compare with values in file 1, but success has been absent. bool stream_wrapper_register (string $protocol, string $classname, [int $flags])
DESCRIPTION
Allows you to implement your own protocol handlers and streams for use with all the other filesystem functions (such as fopen(3), fread(3)
etc.).
PARAMETERS
o $protocol
- The wrapper name to be registered.
o $classname
- The classname which implements the $protocol.
o $flags
- Should be set to STREAM_IS_URL if $protocol is a URL protocol. Default is 0, local stream.
RETURN VALUES
Returns TRUE on success or FALSE on failure.
stream_wrapper_register(3) will return FALSE if the $protocol already has a handler.
