Serial port not found
Hi,
I am working with solaris 9,SUN-Blade-100 and I want to communicate with the Serial port.To check whether the port is working or not.I write code and when I execute the file,then I got the output--

Port /dev/term/a not found!
According to this,serial port is not found.can anyone please tell me how to configure the port

I try to communicate with a GSM modem, from C, for sending SMS.
I use standart AT-commands.
Working well with terminal.
There is no problem writing ti the port.

DESCRIPTION
The spif driver provides support for the Sun Serial/Parallel Interface card (Sun part number 501-1931), which is based on the Cirrus Logic
CD180 octal serial controller and the Cirrus Logic PPC2 parallel port controller.
The device minor numbers for this driver are encoded as follows:

HISTORY
The spif adapter was first supported in OpenBSD 2.5. The driver was ported to NetBSD 3.0.
