Again, $? gives the return value of the last command.

This statement:

echo "$ERROR"

gets the return statement of:

Code:
echo "data"

and not from:

Code:
if [[ -s "$DD_INDD" ]]; then

I have a program that takes a file in which I use a sed to remove some data that is not needed. If all of the data is removed. env - set environment for command execution SYNOPSIS
