I looked everywhere except the obvious: I'm serving my jumpstart flars off nfs... the permissions on the new flars were 400
Admins: feel free to lock or delete the thread.
I prefer deletion to hide my shame

does anyone have a script that can check the contents of the /tmp directory and for example e-mail the directory content if anything other than session files are present?

Hi,
can someone help with the following?
I got 1x146GB disk which is span by just one zfs rpool.
When issue for example:
as you can see in above output the flar is very small, just around 10KB
rpool with all data sets has several GB so this can't be good image. This is on the Solaris 10... (3 Replies)

Been rattling my brain on this one, trying to install multiple systems using the FLASH
method from a cdrom booted image s10u10, with flar image hosted on a FTP server..
System installs fine with traditional install, and can use the flash procedure using ufs image but not zfs filesystem.... (4 Replies)

install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation,
install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.
The following minimum requirements for physical memory dictate which features are available during installation:
For SPARC machines:
128 MB
Minimum physical memory for all installation types
128 MB
Minimum physical memory required for windowing system
384 MB
Minimum physical memory required for graphical-based installation
For x86 machines:
256 MB
Minimum physical memory for all installation types
256 MB
Minimum physical memory required for windowing system
