Image SAM is a real-time Snort alert monitor. It provides many ways to indicate that you may be experiencing an intrusion attempt on your network, including audio/visual warnings, email warnings, etc. License: Freeware Changes:
A Ruby on Rails Web interface is now used instead of a Java GUI. All features from the GUI are available in the new version and many more. There is currently no README for the deployment, but the only requirements are Ruby on Rails 2.1 and MySQL. Image

File monitor and alert

whats is the best way to monitor file if it has not updated in last 24 hours. example /var/logmessages in linux , /var/adm/messaged in solaris and alert to email . find with mtime , perl file stat, anyone have any script examples of something better ? (3 Replies)

NAME
gpiv_t-avg-img - Calculates time-averaged intensities from a series of images at each pixel. SYNOPSIS
gpiv_t-avg-img [-c int] [-fb string] [-ff int] [-fl int] [-fx] [-help] [-p | --print] [-r int] [-s] [-v] < stdin > stdout DESCRIPTION
gpiv_t-avg-img calculates time-averaged intensities from a series of images for each pixel. This program uses the GENPAR parameters. Options -c NCOLS Number of columns. -fb FILE File base-name (without .number.r extension) instead of stdin and stdout. -ff N Number of first image file. -fl N Number of last image file. -fx Prefix numbering to file base name. -help | --help On-line help. -p | --print Prints parameters, command line options and input and output filenames to stdout. -r NROWS Number of rows. -s Subtract mean from input data. -v | --version Prints version information to standard output, then exits successfully.
