Hi,
When i try to connect to the db2 database from unix solaris 5.8 version by typing "db2" from the .../sqllib/bin/ folder, i am not getting the db2 command prompt. Could anyone help me resolve this? Here the db2 is executable only. But still iam not getting the db2 prompt.

I am extracting a column value(DESCRIPTION) from one table and passing it to another db2 statement in a shell code to fetch some value(ID) but the value when passed in where condition is taking as newline+value.

My Motive is, There are some View names in the file with the format of SCHEMA.VIEWNAMe,
I want to read the data from file and parse it to SCHEMA and VIEWNAME and execute DB2 command to get the base Table name.

DESCRIPTION
This package provides a single command providing access to the definition of the nroff man macro set to use for NROFF markup generated by
