Min is 0.0 and max is (total number of CPUs) *1.1 or *1.15
ie:
min 0.0 max 1.1 (1 cpu)
min 0.0 max 2.3 (2 cpu)

Hi ,
I am using 48 CPU sunOS server at my work.
The application has facility to check the current load average before starting a new process to control the load.
Right now it is configured as 48. So it does mean that each CPU can take maximum one proces and no processe is waiting.

HTML::FormFu::Constraint::MinMaxFields - Min/Max Multi-field Constraint
SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
Ensure that at least a minimum and only a maximum number of fields are present.
This constraint doesn't honour the "not()" value.
METHODS
minimum
min
The minimum number of named fields which must be filled in.
"min" is an alias for "minimum".
maximum
max
The maximum number of named fields which must be filled in.
"max" is an alias for "maximum".
The default for max is the number of all affected fields, in other words one more than the number of elements given to others.
