I also installed successfully but it doesn't work well. I get sigreturn errors during portsnap. It works perfectly with qemu however. In my opinion FreeBSD works better with qemu, but Windows is much faster under VirtualBox.

Export QEMU disk image using NBD protocol.
OPTIONS
filename
is a disk image filename
-p, --port=port
port to listen on (default B<1024>)
-o, --offset=offset
offset into the image
-b, --bind=iface
interface to bind to (default B<0.0.0.0>)
-k, --socket=path
Use a unix socket with path I<path>
-r, --read-only
export read-only
-P, --partition=num
only expose partition I<num>
-s, --snapshot
use snapshot file
-n, --nocache
--cache=cache
set cache mode to be used with the file. See the documentation of
the emulator's C<-drive cache=...> option for allowed values.
--aio=aio
choose asynchronous I/O mode between B<threads> (the default)

--discard=discard
