It says "version 1.5.0.10" right up at the top. That's pretty old -- perhaps you should upgrade?

I can run Flash on 64bit with an adapter library "libflashsupport" but I'm on Ubuntu so my instructions would probably not work for you. Still, you might want to look at the Ubuntu Wiki and see if the information there helps. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Re...dFormats/Flash is pretty specific to Ubuntu but there are various useful bits and pieces elsewhere on that wiki, too.

I download the files from Adobe, and place them in /opt/firefox/plugins i made sure to chown and chmod them to be the same as the other 2 plugins that i have in there. when i try to open a file .html that has links to a .swf it keeps asking me to install the player did i do something wrong? update-flashplugin-nonfree - program to get the newest Adobe Flash Player SYNOPSIS
update-flashplugin-nonfree --install update-flashplugin-nonfree --uninstall DESCRIPTION
The program update-flashplugin-nonfree takes care of downloading last minute information from Debian about suitable versions, removing the installed Adobe Flash Plugin if it has been reported as insecure, or, if a newer suitable version is available, downloading a newer Adobe Flash Player and its installer from the Adobe download site, run the downloaded installer to install the Adobe Flash Player on the local system, and then move the installed files to where they fit on a Debian system. A copy of the downloaded .tar.gz is saved in /var/cache/flashplugin-nonfree for later reuse. The program update-flashplugin-nonfree is used in the postinst and prerm scripts of the Debian package, but this program can also be run manually by root. OPTIONS
--install To install, update or remove the Adobe Flash Player depending on downloaded last minute information from Debian about suitable ver- sions. --uninstall To remove the Adobe Flash Player. --verbose Produce detailed information about what's happening. --quiet Produce no informational output.
