You can use crontab to schedule the FTP for every monday
You can add below commands to your shell script to FTP data
WINDOWS_SERVER=10.1.1.1
LOCALDIR=/home/mydir
FILENAME=abc.txt
# transfer the file
ftp -in << EOF
open $WINDOWS_SERVER
user username password
ascii
lcd $LOCALDIR
put $FILENAME
close
EOF
