How to copy set of files with date appended to their name
Hi gurus,

I have set of files in a directory

ex : test_file1.csv
test_file2.csv
test_file3.csv

my requirement is to copy these files into another directory but with date appended to the name :

like after copying the files should look like : test_file1_07072008.csv
test_file2_07072008.csv
test_file3_07072008.csv

is this possible an di fpossible can we perform in a single unix command?

any help is apprecaited.

       ocr4gamera -x <traindata> [options] <imagefile>

OPTIONS

       -v <int>, --verbosity=<int>
	      Set verbosity level to <int>.  Possible values are 0 (default): silent operation; 1:  information on progress; >2: segmentation info
	      is written to PNG files with prefix debug_.

       -h, --help
	      Display help and exit.

       -d, --deskew
	      Do a skew correction (recommended).

       -f, --filter
	      Filter out very large (images) and very small components (noise).

       -a, --automatic-group
	      Autogroup glyphs with classifier.

       -x <file>, --xmlfile=<file>
	      Read training data from <file>.

       -o <xml>, --output=<xml>
