More um question regarding this topic...
Why the user folder is not created by default when creating an user in the system? What is the purpose of it?
Also, if an user does not have a personal folder, it will not able to login in the system. Am I right?
I have an user without a default directory created and I am able only from command line...

All other files in other folders having "read" permission for all shouldn't be accessible to this user.

However, if I try to do it as another user it fails:

I've just started using a Solaris machine with SunOS 5.10.
After the machine is turned on, I open a Console window and at the prompt, if I execute a pwd command, it tells me I'm at my home directory (someone configured "myuser" as default user after init).
