Hi,
We deals into bulk intel based computers. We see usually due to faulty RAM of SMPS machines gets rebooted. About RAM; probably there are many awareness. About SMPS; Faulty SMPS doesnot generate enough power which can leads to operation block to many device, including RAM :-O

suppose u have well build in product system which is build in linux o.s. now due to reason system automatically become crash(software crash),then how do u handle such crash. which is better way to handle such crash.

i have solaris 9.
I had a problem with root file system day before yesterday when it got 100% full, i reduced it to 90% but then after one day it was automatically reduced to 40%!!!
no human intervention was done.
no reboot done.

Greetings,
basically what I want to do is take the standard error from a cron file and store it on a file in a remote host (from Solaris to Linux). I want to create a cron file to do this everyday or put it on a script that will send it everyday to the other system (that doesnt matter). Any ideas... (2 Replies)
