Hi,

I downloaded cups-1.3.7 and all its dependencies are installed.

Then executed ./configure file.

Then gave make command. the error thrown was

# make

cups-config is the CUPS program configuration utility. It should be used by application developers to determine the necessary command-line options for the compiler and linker, as well as determining installation directories for filters, configuration files, and drivers. The --api-version command displays the current API version (major.minor). The --cflags command displays the necessary compiler options. The --datadir command displays the default CUPS data directory. The --help command displays the program usage message. The --ldflags command displays the necessary linker options. The --libs command displays the necessary librarys to link to.
