forget this question, it was a stupid idea SmilieSmilieSmilie

but to the curl guru´s here:

i want to let the file i fetch by curl to STDOUT, no problem,

but can i somehow bring the progress-indication to a file?


viceversa is no problem, but....

Why does this until false; do history | head -5; done result in a stdout infinite loop, yet until false; do history | head -5 > hist5; done only writes it once to file hist5? Pass a pointer to a long to receive the version used in the last http connection. The returned value will be CURL_HTTP_VERSION_1_0, CURL_HTTP_VERSION_1_1, or CURL_HTTP_VERSION_2_0, or 0 if the version can't be determined. PROTOCOLS
