I am currently trying to write a script and I am not that great at wording it with taking in user input, it will do the following:
ask " Have you stopped instances? "

I have got jre 1.5 that I have got to install in the HP.UX version 11.31.
I managed to install it with this command :
# swinstall -s /tmp/<jre.XXXXX.depot>
It automatically gets created in /opt/java1.5/jre/bin.

SYNOPSIS

Like make, ant is a tool that can compile Java projects. But unlike it, ant is based on Java which means that it will run on every platform
that has a Java Virtual Machine. This makes it a great tool for building Java software.
By default it takes information from build.xml which describes the targets.
