we do have a firewall but it is the only one of the unix servers that is having a problem...so I am thinking there is some config file that is still pointing to the old network maybe....at first I was having problems telnetting but then found that there were still some files pointing to the old network and was able to telnet but still no luck with ftp.

Got problem when I tried to get files from Solaris server to my PC. The connection transfer was using FTP and the connection was made from the solaris server to my PC. Here's what happened when the file transfer being made:

Dear All
I cannot ftp to my RedHat server from MS Windows machine ,but ping and telnet are ok. I checked as the following :
#chkconfig tftp on
#setup
After enabling tftp service, still the ftp is not ok but ping & telnet are ok. Can you please help me?

DESCRIPTION
glutSetCursor changes the cursor image of the current window. Each call requests the window system change the cursor appropriately. The
cursor image when a window is created is GLUT_CURSOR_INHERIT. The exact cursor images used are implementation dependent. The intent is for
the image to convey the meaning of the cursor name. For a top-level window, GLUT_CURSOR_INHERIT uses the default window system cursor.
X IMPLEMENTATION NOTES
GLUT for X uses SGI's _SGI_CROSSHAIR_CURSOR convention to access a full-screen cross-hair cursor if possible.
