Thanks, Rubin. That's almost what I need except that I have to be able to open these files in Excel, so the .csv extension needs to be on the end. When I run this, the date is on the end. Is there a way to code it so that the result will be:
filename.200804211034.csv
The following code produces a file with that format, but I need to do more than one file and I need to copy and not move.
filefullname=$1
filename=${filefullname%.*}
fileext=${filefullname##*.}
DTE=`date +%Y%m%d%H%M`
newfilename="${filename}${DTE}.${fileext}"
mv $filefullname $newfilename

when executing this command in unix:

when i am using Mailx command from AIX box, i am getting the following errors :
uuencode: not found.
mailx: not found.
but when i executed the mailx command as shown below it worked

A tiny tool to provide top-like reliable networking statistics. ifpps reads out the 'real' kernel statistics, so it does not give

ifpps --dev eth0
Fetch eth0 interface statistics.
ifpps --dev eth0 --interval 60 --csv
Output eth0 interface statistics every minute in CSV format.
