Yes, I meant that you'd continue to use your Mac laptop, and buy the Mac Pro to be your "home base" for doing your work, the way you're using the server now via ssh.

I just had to rebuild my Sun Ultra 2 running Solaris 2.5.1 as the boot drive failed. Now I can't log on from the Windows XP using WS_FTP Pro, and can't see the PC on the sun using ftp (it just hangs).

Mac::AETE::App - reads the Macintosh Apple event dictionary from an application.
SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
The App module simplifies reading the Apple event dictionary from an application. It will launch the application if necessary to obtain
the dictionary.

read (Inherited from Mac::AETE::Parser.)
Reads the data contained in the AETE resource or handle. Example:

Sets the output formatter used during by the 'write' subroutine. Example:

Copies all suites from one Parser object into another. Example:
