There is no workaround my friend, what is you goal? being an HPUX sysadmin?
I dont see whats the point of having procedures you dont understand...
Things badly done especially if not understood can lead to terrible issues... and we do not want that.
choose a subject, go through the documentation and ask here if things are not clear...
Submit YOUR procedure and ask us what we think
I believe people here will be glad to comment your work, giving you some usefull tricks advice and correct you if needed...and help you carry on your progress in mastering HPUX

1) edit /etc/inet/hosts to add an entry of the NIS server -- nserver01

After months of threats, we're finally migrating servers from NIS+ to LDAP. :eek: I'm happy using niscat, nisgrep etc and now it seems I have to use ldapsearch which is far from being a simple CLI!
Are there any easy (easier?) ways to interrogate the LDAP directory? :confused:

To configure DNS bind use Ldap as zone record database, I use bind 9.7.0 and sun directory 5.2
I do follow http://imil.net/docs/Configuring_DNS_zones_with_LDAP.txt
and stuck at make install

I am trying to convert a single-drive Centos 7.2 installation with LVM into a two-disk mdadm mirror with mrrored LVM. I was able to follow the excellent instructions at:
