It seems ok, but since this is posted in the solaris forums you could be running Solaris 10 wich uses a different method for controling inetd.
inetadm is the command to use
(check the syntax with man inetadm)
This is only true for Solaris 10

I've got Wu-ftpd installed and when i try to connect on my windows box with my root account it says to login so i type root and my password and it says that it's an incorrect login.
