SuSE Linux Kernel & Veritas MultiNIC Configuration...!!!

Dear All,

I would like to install VERITAS Cluster 4.1 on SuSE Linux 10 with SP1 & following is the requirement of the kernel from VERITAS side;
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 with SP1 with following kernel level: 2.6.16-37-0.18-smp/2.6.16-37-0.18-bigsmp

After installing the SuSE 10 with SP1 on the system, when I checked the kernel using “uname -a” command, it gives me following output;
2.6.16.46-0.12-bigsmp

Could anyone please let me know that do I need to upgrade the kernel or its already the higher version from the one VERITAS is looking for as a minimum? If upgrade is required, how should I go ahead for doing the kernel upgrade on SuSE 10 with SP1?

Also would like to know the configuration required on SuSE Linux for VERITAS MultiNIC option. I need to use two network interfaces to be configured as MultiNIC in Veritas Cluster 4.1. What would be required to do on the OS side for the network interfaces configuration?

Awaiting for earliest reply....

Thanks & Regards,
jumadhiya.
