Spoofing a From Address in SMTP
Hi, I am currently using Mailx to send a mail message from my unix account via an SMTP relay. This is working ok.
However from the recipient end the FROM address they see on mails received is <unix account>@<domain> eg
prod@liveserver.com
Is there anyway I can spoof this FROM address from the mailx send such that from the recipient end they see a different address ? I would like them to see
automailer@investserver.com

DESCRIPTION
This mixin may be added to a model to give your user accounts a name and an email address. This module may be used as the basic building

suitable for a given authentication mechanism.

email
This is the email address of the account. It is intended as a bare minimum confirmation of identity and for communication of password
resets and other account information.

This is a flag indicating whether the user has confirmed ownership of the given email address.
METHODS
set_email ADDRESS
Whenever a user's email is set to a new value, we need to make sure they reconfirm it.
validate_email
