The Linux Test Project is a joint project with SGI, IBM, OSDL, Bull, and Wipro Technologies with a goal to deliver test suites to the open source community that validate the reliability, robustness, and stability of Linux. The project consists of well over 2000 individual testcases and a test driver to automate execution of the tests.

Changes to SE-Linux reference policy test cases, GCOV kernel patches for kernels 2.6.23 and 2.6.24, the addition of FALLOCATE test cases, a fix to NUMA test cases, a fix to POSIX_FADVISE test cases, more mature REALTIME test cases, huge changes to KDUMP test cases, the addition of FILECAPS test cases, and fixes to HTML output generation. LTP capability was enhanced to run continuous sequential runs.
