Need Help with Sed
Hi,
I am a beginner in Unix scripting and I would appreciate your help here
I have a file named dbprops.txt which has the following text
use DBNAME
go
print "use DBNAME"
print "go"
in my script i have a loop to pass this file to iSQL and I want to replace the DBName value. However I cant go with replacement of the value "DBNAME" as its going to be changed after each iteration.
Can any one of you please suggest on how to replace that value using the string use
for eg like
sed/^use/use ???/g
Thanks in advance
