I tried using $argv[1], But it didn't work.
C doesn't work like a shell script, you can't expect variables to simply expand.

1. Prepare a string
2. use sprintf() or a similar mechanism to write the command along with the argument passed to the program into that string
3. execute system() with this string.

#include <libexplain/execve.h> void explain_execve_or_die(const char *pathname, const char *const *argv, const char *const *envp); DESCRIPTION

This function is intended to be used in a fashion similar to the following example: explain_execve_or_die(pathname, argv, envp); pathname The pathname, exactly as to be passed to the execve(2) system call. argv The argv, exactly as to be passed to the execve(2) system call. envp The envp, exactly as to be passed to the execve(2) system call.
