Assuming that the numbers are in a variable, something like this will work:

a="09192007 09202007 09182007 09172007 09162007"
echo $a | tr ' ' '\n' | sort
09162007
09172007
09182007
09192007
09202007

You can tr the '\n' back to ' ' later if you want.

If the numbers are in a file, you can use a similar method:

tr ' ' '\n' < /file/with/numbers | sort 
09162007
09172007
09182007
09192007
09202007

		     = 3:  normal (0,1)

	   ISEED

		     ISEED is INTEGER array, dimension (4)
		     On entry, the seed of the random number generator; the array
		     elements must be between 0 and 4095, and ISEED(4) must be
		     odd.
		     On exit, the seed is updated.

	   N

		     N is INTEGER
		     The number of random numbers to be generated.

	   X

		     X is DOUBLE PRECISION array, dimension (N)
