How did you compile PHP exactly? I didn't recall having to set anything about the architecture as the configure script should detect it unless you are trying to cross compile for another system ...

Hello Friends,
On one of my Solaris 10 box, CPU usage shows 100% using "sar", "vmstat". However, it has 4 CPUs and prstat and glance are not showing enough processes to justify high CPU utilization.

Hi,
I want to get the second Sunday of march in any year, I have tried below command but it is not giving me the correct output
i_year=`date +%Y`
cal -m 03 $i_year | sed '/^$/d' |head -4 |tail -1|rev | cut -c1`
This is returning me 0 , where as I want 10.
Can you please help

We have a single threaded application which is restricted by CPU usage even though there are multiple CPUs on the server, hence leading to significant performance issues. Is it possible to merge / combine multiple CPUs at OS level so it appear as a single CPU for the application? (6 Replies)
