Solaris embedded account information

Hi,

I am currently working in a security project and I was wondering wether you can help me out. I need to find a way to secure scripts and files in Solaris 10 so they do not contain embedded clear text passwords.
The following is an example of a command that could be issued to determine if passwords have been embedded in sql scripts for the purposr of automatically connecting to the database:

cd full-directory-path-for-script-directories
/usr/bin/grep connect *.sql > audit-connect.dat

I need to find a way so that 'connect userid/password' format is not generated.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance Smilie
