If that doesn't work, you'll need to unpack it (tar -jxvf packagename.tar.bz2) and edit or create the .spec file inside (packagename.spec), then repackage it (tar -cjvf packagename.tar.bz2 packagename/) and then try rpmbuild again.

QUERY OPTIONS
The general form of an rpm spec query command is
rpm {-q|--query} [select-options] [query-options]
You may specify the format that the information should be printed in. To do this, you use the

SELECT OPTIONS
--rpms Operate on the binary package header(s).
