When did you notice this? I don't use a signature so I would not have noticed.

I have been asked to look into implementing digital signatures with emails sent from our Solaris servers to users. The emails would be sent from "application" accounts on the servers to users in the Windows world (exchange).

gnutls_x509_crl_get_signature - Returns the CRL's signature
SYNOPSIS

int gnutls_x509_crl_get_signature(gnutls_x509_crl_t crl, char * sig, size_t * sizeof_sig);
ARGUMENTS
gnutls_x509_crl_t crl
should contain a gnutls_x509_crl_t structure
char * sig a pointer where the signature part will be copied (may be null).
size_t * sizeof_sig
initially holds the size of sig
DESCRIPTION
This function will extract the signature field of a CRL.
RETURNS
On success, GNUTLS_E_SUCCESS is returned, otherwise a negative error value. and a negative value on error.
