Ok, I've been working in the IT field for about 3 years now and I never fully understood the concept of ip ports. I just started a new job that uses Solaris and today it kinda clicked in my head and I want to know if I'm right or wrong.

DESCRIPTION
Every time the monitor action is run, this resource agent records (in the CIB) the current number of ping nodes the host can connect to. It
is essentially the same as pingd except that it uses the system ping tool to obtain the results.

PID file
OCF_RESKEY_dampen = integer [5s]
Dampening interval
The time to wait (dampening) further changes occur

Attribute name

Value multiplier
