Hi,
I have two solaris servers with tape drives (HP DDS-3 4MM DAT tape drive). OS is SunOS daytona82 5.6 Generic_111446-02 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise.
I am facing strange problem, whenever I put a new tape in the tape drive and issue "mt -f /dev/rmt/0cn eom" it fails saying I/O error.... (1 Reply)

what the "command to ping at limited time", for example
at linux

Ever noticed that using the top command on a multiple cpu box can often give totally misleading answers, like 230%, when you think that 100% should be the max?

Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation, install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.
