upper limit of accessible memory space for a single process in Unix/Linux
Hellp all,
if there is 3G memory in my Unix server I want to know if all the 3G space can be used by ong sigle process. As i know, in Windows, one process can only access at most 1G memory despite there is probably more than 1G memory is equipped.

For some special reason , I'd like to control the memory address for the shared libraries in my dynamically linked process.

grub-render-label - generate a .disk_label for Apple Macs.
SYNOPSIS
grub-render-label [OPTION...] [OPTIONS]
DESCRIPTION
Render Apple .disk_label.
-b, --bgcolor=COLOR
use COLOR for background
-c, --color=COLOR
use COLOR for text
-f, --font=FILE
use FILE as font (PF2).
-i, --input=FILE
read text from FILE.
-o, --output=FILE
set output filename. Default is STDOUT
-t, --text=STRING
set the label to render
-v, --verbose
print verbose messages.
-?, --help
give this help list
