Veritas - multiple devices with same name

After removing a disk for replacement in Veritas (vdiskadm 4), the Sun engineer offlined the disk, and physically replaced it. After that there were two entries with the same device name. I have tried removing the disks with vxdisk rm and ran vxdctl enable, but nothing helps

vxdisk list showed
# vxdisk list
DEVICE TYPE DISK GROUP STATUS
c1t0d0s2 auto:sliced bootdg01 rootdg online
c1t1d0s2 auto:sliced rootmirror01 rootdg online nohotuse
c1t2d0s2 auto - - error
c1t2d0s2 auto - - error
c1t3d0s2 auto:cdsdisk v882dg002 v882dg01 online
c1t4d0s2 auto:cdsdisk v882dg003 v882dg01 online
c1t5d0s2 auto:cdsdisk v882dg004 v882dg01 online
- - v882dg001 v882dg01 removed was:c1t2d0s2
