Autosys alarm on Filewatcher

Hi All,

I have a similar task of sending emails from AutoSys on alarms.

I have a filewatcher which watches continuously for a file. After certain time, if the file is not recevied, I need to send mail to a particular group.

I configured filewatcher job to raise MAXRUNALARM signal after this time. Is there any way that when AutoSys sees this alarm, it sends an email?

When I read this post, I could see that we need to create our own job for sending mails and there is no built-in autosys feature for the same. Is this true?

In manuals, I read about a file called notify.$AUTOSERV, which can be used for email notifications. Is this file limited to critical alarms alone and not warning alarms?
