Unfortunately, not so much. Smilie We have that old verison installed, but it does not have any apache modules for serving via that method, only the svnserve method.

I have downloaded the subversion sources and the subversion dependancies. I have managed to build the application with some hpux jiggery-pokery of the make files, but i am unable to compile the mod_dav_svn.so and mod_authz_svn.so files for Apache2.

From memory i added the line:
--with-apxs=/opt/hpws/apache/bin/apxs
Which is an existing binary installation of apache2. Unfortunately this fell over on the mod_dav_svn installation, i believe the error was a libtool related.

I then tried the same thing but pointing to another apache installation:
--with-apxs=/opt/apache2/bin/apxs

Code:
 /svn2/svn-install/subversion-1.4.3/build/install-sh -c -m 644 ./subversion/svnsync/svnsync.1 /svn2/svn/pkg/man/man1/svnsync.1
/svn2/svn-install/subversion-1.4.3/build/install-sh -c -m 644 ./subversion/svnversion/svnversion.1 /svn2/svn/pkg/man/man1/svnversion.1
        cd subversion/mod_dav_svn ; /svn2/svn-install/subversion-1.4.3/build/install-sh -c -d "/opt/hpapache2/modules" ; /opt/hpapache2/bin/apxs -i -S LIBEXECDIR="/opt/hpapache2/modules" -a -n dav_svn mod_dav_svn.la
/opt/hpapache2/build/instdso.sh SH_LIBTOOL='/opt/hpapache2/build/libtool' mod_dav_svn.la /opt/hpapache2/modules
/opt/hpapache2/build/libtool --mode=install cp mod_dav_svn.la /opt/hpapache2/modules/
cp .libs/mod_dav_svn.lai /opt/hpapache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.la
cp .libs/mod_dav_svn.a /opt/hpapache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.a
: /opt/hpapache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.a
chmod 644 /opt/hpapache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.a

Libraries have been installed in:
   /opt/hpapache2/modules

If you ever happen to want to link against installed libraries
in a given directory, LIBDIR, you must either use libtool, and
specify the full pathname of the library, or use `-LLIBDIR'
flag during linking and do at least one of the following:
   - add LIBDIR to the `SHLIB_PATH' environment variable
     during execution
   - use the `-Wl,+b -Wl,LIBDIR' linker flag

See any operating system documentation about shared libraries for
more information, such as the ld(1) and ld.so(8) manual pages.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Warning! dlname not found in /opt/hpapache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.la.
Assuming installing a .so rather than a libtool archive.
chmod 755 /opt/hpapache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.so
chmod: can't access /opt/hpapache2/modules/mod_dav_svn.so
apxs:Error: Command failed with rc=65536

.

*** Error exit code 1

Does anyone know if i'm doing something wrong? There is no mod_dav_svn.so at that location, only a .la and a .a. The other fails to link but i don't have the exact error at hand.

Thank you.

KRB5-CONFIG(1) MIT Kerberos KRB5-CONFIG(1)

NAME
krb5-config - tool for linking against MIT Kerberos libraries SYNOPSIS
krb5-config [--help | --all | --version | --vendor | --prefix | --exec-prefix | --defccname | --defktname | --defcktname | --cflags | --libs [libraries]] DESCRIPTION
krb5-config tells the application programmer what flags to use to compile and link programs against the installed Kerberos libraries. OPTIONS
--help prints a usage message. This is the default behavior when no options are specified. --all prints the version, vendor, prefix, and exec-prefix. --version prints the version number of the Kerberos installation. --vendor prints the name of the vendor of the Kerberos installation. --prefix prints the prefix for which the Kerberos installation was built. --exec-prefix prints the prefix for executables for which the Kerberos installation was built. --defccname prints the built-in default credentials cache location. --defktname prints the built-in default keytab location. --defcktname prints the built-in default client (initiator) keytab location. --cflags prints the compilation flags used to build the Kerberos installation. --libs [library] prints the compiler options needed to link against library. Allowed values for library are: +------------+------------------------------------------------+ |krb5 | Kerberos 5 applications (default) | +------------+------------------------------------------------+ |gssapi | GSSAPI applications with Kerberos 5 bindings | +------------+------------------------------------------------+ |kadm-client | Kadmin client | +------------+------------------------------------------------+ |kadm-server | Kadmin server | +------------+------------------------------------------------+ |kdb | Applications that access the Kerberos database | +------------+------------------------------------------------+ EXAMPLES
krb5-config is particularly useful for compiling against a Kerberos installation that was installed in a non-standard location. For exam- ple, a Kerberos installation that is installed in /opt/krb5/ but uses libraries in /usr/local/lib/ for text localization would produce the following output: shell% krb5-config --libs krb5 -L/opt/krb5/lib -Wl,-rpath -Wl,/opt/krb5/lib -L/usr/local/lib -lkrb5 -lk5crypto -lcom_err SEE ALSO
