delete lines in a file

Code:
awk ' $0 ~ "^Grid" { print > "outputfile.txt"; getline; getline; print > "outputfile.txt" }' inputfile.txtBefore the command is executed,
it assumes your input file name is inputfile.txt ( or based on the input file name change the inputfile given to the command )
output of the command will be available in the file named outputfile.txt

I have file of more than 10000 lines.
I want to delete 40 lines after every 20 lines.
e.g from a huge file, i want to delete line no from 34 - 74, then 94 - 134 etc and so on.
Please let me know how i can do it.

podofoxmp is one of the command line tools from the PoDoFo library that provide several useful operations to work with PDF files. It can extract or modify XMP information in a PDF file. OPTIONS
